Dansk ordbog

Dansk ordbog

Kendte problemer

  • “i” bliver erstattet med “I”
  • Words that contains the letter “æ” will not be suggested. Example: writing “hamme” will not give the suggestion “hæmme”

  1. Hey guys,

First of thank you very much for this huge project:)

untill now i’ve found one annoying suggestion if you try to type “OK” the dictionary will replace it with “OM”…

Keep up the great work mates

  2. Thanks Jonas. I found a bug! Expect an update soon :)

  3. I am very happy about your work up till now! :-)

However I have a few words which would be nice to have:
    Næsten, spændende, lækker, hæmme, ækel

    Thanks again.

  4. typing “nasten” suggests “masten” but a much more common word is “næsten”

  5. a few more word:

    Læse, Læs, Lås, Låse

  6. a few more:
    kæmpe, være

    :-)

  7. Just to clarify my previous post, the words do not have to start with a capital L - it was just to make it easier to see it was not an I.

  8. Here’s a list of the 120 most commonly used Danish words:

    http://www.blogbogstaver.dk/ordkloeveren/2006/01/nu_er_det_jo_s.html

If some of them are not in the dictionary, maybe you can add them?

Maybe they should also be given a higher priority if they are commonly used?

  9. They are all in the dictionary already. And if they are commonly used, they already have a higher priority. If you’ve found that something isn’t working correctly, please tell me.

  10. I have some things i just noticed:

“det” is changed to “dét”, “det” is a more common word.
“bare” edits to “båre”, and “bare” is used like 100 times more often than “båre”.

And great job dude, really nice dictionary.

  11. Dovendyret: Thanks for letting me know. I will fix this issue in the next update.

If there are two identical words, except that one of the words have special characters. Then the word with special characters will only be suggested if it is common, in comparison to the other word. This means that words with special characters, that are not very common, will not be suggested. That should solve your problem (I’ve tested it).

  12. Sounds good Kia, i will return if i see any minor bugs ;)

  13. Hi Kia,
thanks a lot for your work. It is a great help! Will there be an update in the near future?
I could make a list of important words which are not corrected - mainly with the “Æ” like “færdig”.
    All the best,
    Morten

  14. Hi Kia,

Great work with the dicts. Is there any update on the “æ” issue, as well as the capital I when i si meant?
